Wherever You Are, Be All There
I don't really know what to write. Seems I always begin these blogs like that. Not knowing what to write, but knowing that I need to. I'm sitting here listening to Hillsong and can't help but think I am missing out on something. Missing out on life. I don't want to, but it feels like I am. I say feels because that's exactly what it is. Just a feeling. A feeling that I need to buck up and defeat. The other day my mother had a verse for me. I don't remember exactly where it was but it said how God smiled on the children and grandchildren who take care of their family. With me living here and taking care of grandma He is smiling on me. He is pleased. That makes me smile. I am doing what is good and right in my Father's eyes. So I shouldn't be feeling like I'm missing out. I'm not. I'm right where God wants me right now. Wherever you are be all there.

I was just thinking along those lines today, and about the dead fig tree. Honestly, one wonders when there doesn't appear to be any fruit. It doesn't much matter what you feel, because feelings come and go. And sometimes the results of your faithfulness are less than obvious. Remain faithful to what you are doing my friend.
Thanks brother! It's funny how we can be so good at encouraging others that we need to learn to encourage ourselves once in awhile.
